this is my favorite ynfg of all time and i love everything about it. the bestiary got me hooked on the subtle narrative and i still haven't stopped thinking about it. worlds are beautiful and well designed. even all the little gamedev design considerations are so well placed... fantastic game ^^ !!
This is definitely one of my favorite Yume Nikki fangames I've ever played. The pixel art is gorgeous, and the environments even more so. The NPCs and little recurring details add so much character and life to the game, and the game is great at showing you what you need to do instead of directly telling you or leaving you in the dark. I also love the little side quests and interactable elements, they really help to break up the monotony of just walking around the different worlds. I can't wait to see what comes from this game in the future, and I'm really glad it seems to be pretty consistently updated.
Incredibly good little yume nikki fangame, I'm early into it but it has just been quality world after quality world with amazing pixel art with great little additions like being able to buy temporary versions of the classic abilities (Speed, Hurt, Nexus tele) before you find the perm version and a bestiary you can fill out of all the random creatures in the world with descriptions that sometimes hint towards stuff. I'd pay for this if itch gave me the option
I very much enjoy this game so far. Thanks to the distinct landmarks and attention to detail, it is a bit easier to keep track of whats where in the worlds. On top of that, they all look visually stunning!
One highlight for me is when you have to chase a fox person through the worlds. I like this because it lets players get their bearings on where they can go through an objective. This beginner friendliness is rarely seen in fangames and you made me wish there was more of it.
Uh... my arrow keys simply don't work. Like, nothing works, I can't select an option or anything. All I can do is toggle fullscreen. Anyone knows what's the problem?
I wasn't able to finish it all but I plan to do that in the next video! I really enjoyed it so far, there is a lot to see and I yet to figure out how to do everything yet. I am enjoying myself though!
I really dig the art, and the areas are all very distinct and interesting. I also liked the inclusion of a bestiary to read about the different npcs. Really enjoyed playing.
Really beautiful maps with fun looking npcs, it was fun to explore and there was deifnitely love and effort put into the graphics here. Really lovely to look at with a fun concept and gameplay twist too.
